Continuing the same tradition for centuries, Gran Gusto cheese is Italy's best-known 18-month granular cheese. Rich flavored and delicious, cheese is produced from skimmed milk. It is derived from cow's milk and cows' diet, weather, soil affect the quality and taste of the cheese produced. It has a pleasant light, sharp and delicious taste. It is a frequently preferred snack with red wine. You can use it by sprinkling on pasta, salads, cheese plates, grills, risotto, soups and pizzas. It is a semi-fat, hard cheese.

Each kilo contains more than 4 liters of milk concentrated nutrients. It is an excellent source of protein, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins A, B2, B6, B12, E, D and K, pantothenic acid, biotin, magnesium, zinc, copper, potassium, sodium and cobalt. This cheese contains 18 of the body's 21 essential amino acids. It is fat and cholesterol free compared to many other cheeses.

Origin: Italy

Originating in northern Italy, the Po Plain takes its name from the words Grana (fragile) and Padano (from the po river). In Latin, 'Padus' means river. Grana Padano is a semi-skimmed, hard granular cheese that matures slowly for at least 12 months. It is supervised by a consortium that constantly checks and monitors the quality of the cheese. It uses high quality milk, rennet and salt. The wheels are humidity and temperature controlled and are cleaned and turned regularly. Outside the wheel is a thin and pale yellow shell. This crust is not suitable for eating. If the product passes the quality tests after the ripening period, the Grana Padano brand is etched on the product with the help of fire. It is used in thin slices, grated or powdered.
