As Endemigo, we support circular economy. If you ask its reason; we can count many reasons from global warming to social inequalities, from lack of water to wasteful resource consumption. However, the main reason behind our belief is the extermly high level of consumption because of the industrializing world societies. We agree, we can easily access every product even the people with low income can buy smart phones. Everyone can have anything they want thanks to industrial products. So is it correct approach for the economy and the world’s development cycle? For sure not. Resources are running out, the lifespan of a very high amount of goods are decreasing day by day. Today’s linear economy aspect causes many problems; dozens of new clothes in every season unneccessarily, always full cabinets filled with food more than we will consume, injustice in accessing basic food and necessity products. In our opinion this system is incomprehensible.

So what is the place of labor-intensive production in the economy to the people? Here it is necessary to specify it; The labor-intensive production we are talking about is completely human oriented production that we call as art or craftsmanship today. Endemigo isn’t against the technology or mechanization. We only encourage regulation with the Circular Economy approach. To put it clearly, it is not against the products that produced with technology or less human force. However, in favor of people to earn more in less time. Otherwords, the labor intensity and how intense they work to improve the quality and skill-intensity should be realized not ignored. Lets think about it, you work for 3 or 4 days every week, but still receive an only full month of salary. As techonogly develops in this way, isn’t it possible to use it for the benefits of humans. Isn’t is possible to make a monthly livelihood comfortably without people loosing their jobs and having more people to work less intensely. Yes, we are a techonological company too and our goal is to move forward on this path; making more people to earn more and work less intead of trying having less people and make them work intensely. Well, if you question how this can be done, of course by protecting the world and labor-intensive producers. We don’t think people will get unemployed because of the technological improvements. On the contrary, unemployed should decrease while labor intensive production should increase and workloads in today’s business life should decrease with technology advances. Technology is stard but human labor is beyond the standard. Standard shows the absolute accuracy of certain low level, handwork shows the great level. I guess, this will stay same until robots learn how to make an art. Even though artificial intelligence computers with artistic works have begun to be tested, but still this will not eliminate the importance of human production but still this will not elimanete the importance of human production. As we know, the most important element that develops people is to transform their talents into skills, in other words, mastery and art. Therefore, people should make an effort to develop their intelligence, abilities and manual labor.

In order to accomplish this as society, we need to encourage and value/appreciate labor intensive production. If we want to improve humanity, this is unavoidable. Let's talk about now the labor-intensive production in terms of geographically indicated products. At this point, we can easily say that almost all of the geographically indicated products are labor-intensive, quality products beyond standards. The majority of those who produce these products are our women producers and micro-scale enterprises. They continue to produce in old traditional ways with their skills. We work for them to win, stand for their businesses and to be able to share these valuable gifts of humanity with future generations. We can say that, we are working for to make the world better place. Think about it in this way; every product that you buy don’t cause pollution or destroy the world, it is produced in limited numbers and it is tried to be procted as human values.
