Collectable
Pieces that could find a place in a collection through their authenticity, technique, cultural character, rarity or period. A newly made piece can also be collectable.
One of a kind • Türünün tek örneği
Some products gain their own story the moment they leave the master’s hands. The texture of an Anatolian carpet, the pattern of a special İznik tile, the detail of a handcrafted knife… We preserve these pieces with their original identities and their histories.

Mastery. Craft. Art.
In our handmade products, material, pattern, technique and the master’s touch take on meaning together. A one-of-a-kind piece is assessed on its original identity, which no other example shares in full.
A special-harvest vinegar or olive oil can also be exceptional because of the story of its production. With these products, we distinguish the identity of a single bottle from the limited production batch it belongs to, and state clearly whether it is a one-of-a-kind piece or part of a limited series.
In this world, which ranges from discerning collectors to gifts for senior executives, a piece’s story is an inseparable part of how it is presented. In special gift projects too, we consider the product’s origin, craftsmanship and documents together.

Masterworks that we set apart in our selection for their mastery, artistic expression, technical quality and rarity. We use this designation with reasons specific to the piece and an expert assessment.
Products of historical character by virtue of their age and period features. The period, condition and any interventions are explained in the product file; not every one-of-a-kind piece has to be an antique.
A piece’s memory
Provenance tells the story of a piece’s origin and its documented journey of ownership. The master who made it or the setting in which it was produced, its previous sales, collection records and care history are all information that forms part of its identity.
We record documented history and state expert assessments together with their basis. We build on this record with each new transaction made through Endemigo. So when you buy a piece, you can also see what is known about it.
What the piece file contains
This diagram is not a certificate for a real piece; it shows how the file’s contents are structured.
A special piece, an in-depth review
On top of our auction standard of at least three experts and one curator, we add a broader expert assessment depending on the type of product and the review it needs. Special pieces may go through a process that extends to assessment by as many as eight experts.
We issue certificates for one-of-a-kind pieces that Endemigo has examined and brought within the scope of its special certification. The certificate clearly sets out the product’s identity, its identifying features, the scope of the review and the party issuing the document.
The digital certification standard we have developed for one-of-a-kind pieces involves matching the piece’s identity to an NFT record. This matching brings the certificate and the transaction history together around the same piece.
In the product description, we distinguish between a certificate issued by the store itself and one issued by Endemigo. The digital record assigned to the product and the scope of the sale are also shown in the same description.
When it meets its next owner
If you want to resell a piece you bought from Endemigo, you can submit it to our platform for assessment. By reviewing its existing records and current condition together, we can prepare its new sale.
Before the sale, we assess whether the piece matches its record, its ownership and the authority to sell it, up-to-date photographs and any care or repairs. Once completed, the new transaction is added to the piece’s documented provenance.
In this way, the information we created at the first purchase remains meaningful for the next buyer too. We agree the sales method and terms together, according to the nature of the piece.
Your questions
A one-of-a-kind piece is assessed on its own original identity. A limited series, by contrast, includes more than one example from the same production group. We keep series numbers and individual numbers separate in the product file.
Provenance describes the history that can be documented. We present records of known origin and expert assessments together with their basis, and build on this history with each new sale.
Yes, you can submit your piece for resale assessment. Once its current condition, its match with the record and the authority to sell have been reviewed, we decide on the appropriate sales method.
