Penne is pasta in the form of a short tube that is popular in Italy and abroad. This versatile pasta shape originated in Liguria and can be used in many different pasta recipes. The penne, whose ends are cut at an angle, has a particularly large surface area and plenty of room for sauce in its tubes. The shape is also what gives it the name penne for "feather" in Italian. There are generally two types of penne: straight (lisce) and protruding (hard). Thanks to its protrusions, the rigate version is slightly more robust and tends to absorb more sauce than smooth penne. It is not difficult to understand that the word "penne" or the singular "penna" means "pen" in English. Considering that this pasta looks like the tip of an old-fashioned pencil or quill, it's clear that the name comes from this likeness. There are two types of penne pasta; "Rigate" means corrugated and "lisce" means smooth.

Delivery Details
When your order is handed to the carrier, you receive an “Your order has been shipped” email and an SMS from the carrier. You can see your order status and tracking number under Account > My Orders, and follow your shipment on the carrier’s website with the tracking number.
Return Terms
Return/Cancellation Details
The return steps are as follows.
- Go to Account > My Orders.
- Open the details of the order you want to return.
- Create a return request and write the reason.
- Once your request is approved, note the return shipping code shown in the order details.
- Put the items to be returned in a single package together with the invoice.
- Hand the package to the carrier with the return shipping code within 7 days. After 7 days you need to get a new return shipping code.
Once the return reaches the seller and is approved, the amount is refunded to your credit card, debit card or via bank transfer, depending on your payment method.
