These are products whose link to a particular place and whose distinctive qualities are defined through registration. We present them with their region of origin, production characteristics and registration details.
These are products that take their character from an original production method, craftsmanship, origin or a well-established standard of quality. We also give a place to valuable products without GI registration on the strength of these qualities.
Authenticity means that a product has the identity and characteristics described in its listing. For the products we offer with an authenticity guarantee, our principle is that the origin, the producer and the product information are presented accurately.
The technique and condition of a textile, the origin and production characteristics of a food and the period and material of an antique all call for different kinds of expertise. We assess each category with these differences in mind. The information, photographs and documents on a product page are there to help customers understand what they are buying.
In every category we auction, we work with an evaluation approach involving at least three experts and a curator. We issue certificates for the antiques and one-of-a-kind pieces offered in our auctions. We care about each piece being properly identified and about its information being preserved throughout its life in collections.
We are developing our product identity and traceability work so that buyers can reach product information more easily and producers can better convey the authenticity of what they make. MigoSeal applications are available through the Endemigo app. We share up-to-date usage information on the relevant service screens.
