The tourism sector, which has a vital importance for developed and developing countries, is accepted as one of the most important sources of economic growth and development. The tourism sector, which affects many sectors directly or indirectly, is becoming more important with its foreign exchange earning, foreign capital incentive and employment increasing features, especially in developing countries. The tourism sector, which makes positive contributions to the country's economies, has entered a rapid growth process, especially with the globalization process. While the number of people participating in international tourism activities in the world was 25.3 million in the 1950s, this figure reached 1 billion 461 million in 2019.
With the rapid development of tourism in the world, the needs, habits and tastes of people have changed, and the demand for different types of tourism has increased, apart from the traditional understanding of tourism. One of them is "gastronomy tourism". The importance and interest given to food and beverage is increasing day by day, and food and beverage culture is very important for a region to be a center of attraction.
