In this book, industrial rights under the Industrial Property Law are introduced. Applications for patents, utility models, industrial designs, geographical indications and trademarks regulated by Law No. 6769 and Decrees No. 551, 554, 555 and 556, registration and post-registration transactions, and legal and penal sanctions regarding violation of these rights within the framework of a single law. regulation is intended. On the other hand, criminal sanctions were included in the scope of the law in order to find a solution to the legal problems arising from the regulation of the penal provisions that should be regulated by the laws with the Decree-Laws, as brought to the agenda with the various annulment decisions of the Constitutional Court.

The aim of the book is to enable right holders and lawyers active in industry and commerce to access concise information about the registration processes, the protection opportunities provided by registration, and the legal remedies that can be applied in case of infringement, by recognizing entry-level rights.

Industrial rights are the rights established on distinctive signs (trademarks, titles), technical inventions, utility models and new designs related to industry, mostly used in industry, under the upper concept of Intellectual Property. Therefore, integrated circuit rights and breeder rights, which are regulated by a separate special law in the book; There are no copyrights and related rights protected by the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works. The definition of rights, their elements, the protection provided and their legal procedures, which are often put into practice within the scope of SMK, are emphasized.

In this book, detailed and case-law information on the judicial applications of industrial rights could not be included since the enforcement of the SMK has just begun, and the results of the implementation had to be awaited. It is hoped that the book will be useful to industrialists, traders, lawyers, students and interests with its clear and simple language and practical information presentation.
